Nearly 50 community members took an active part in Giving Tuesday, the day that does good
Members of the INRS community responded enthusiastically to our call for generosity as part of our Giving Tuesday 2023 campaign. In just 24 hours, no fewer than 46 people took part, donating between $20 and $5,000, for a total to date of more than $17,400 to support student vitality at INRS. In addition, over $13,400 has been pledged—many giving through payroll deductions—or the coming year.
In addition to being channelled into our Student Assistance Fund, generosity also manifested itself in contributions to the INRS Development Fund, Celebrating our 2023-2024 Graduates, the Career Transition Scholarship Fund, and the Foundation Board Scholarship Fund.
All components of INRS are represented by 46 generous donors, who are also members of staff, faculty, graduates, retirees, our Board and friends of INRS.
INRS senior managers led the outpouring of generosity by renewing their commitment to support the Career TransitionScholarship, which was awarded for the first time this year.
The Foundation’s Board Scholarship was also renewed in 2024 thanks to new contributions from members of our Board of Directors.
Thank you so much for your generosity! Your support makes all the difference in the lives and careers of our students.
