On March 18, come and hear Luc-Alain Giraldeau, General Director of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), speak at the Conseil des relations internationales de Montréal (CORIM) in a conference entitled “Recherche et innovation : la compétitivité du Québec passe par l'international”.
This event will be a unique opportunity to discuss this crucial issue with professionals from a variety of backgrounds. Mr. Giraldeau will be joined by our proud Ph.D. graduate in Population Studies, Marie-Pierre Ippersiel, President and CEO of PRIMA Québec, who will moderate the event.
Scientific research is a driving force behind economic, social and cultural development. It shapes our future, here in Quebec, by fostering strategic international collaborations. How can we maximize the impact of this cutting-edge research for Quebec institutions? What synergies between the research community, businesses and government bodies can strengthen Quebec's productivity and competitiveness on the world stage? These are just some of the questions that will be explored at this breakfast seminar.
Date: Tuesday, March 18, 2025
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Place: Le Westin Montréal,
270 Saint-Antoine Street West, Montreal
This meeting will also be a fantastic opportunity to connect with a wide variety of actors gravitating around INRS and to exchange with key researchers and partners from the business community.
The Foundation has reserved a limited number of places for its alumni, the driving force behind INRS's outreach. If you'd like to be present at the INRS tables, keep an eye on your email inbox over the next few days.
