Did you know? Anne-Marie Simard graduated in 1990 with a master’s degree in telecommunications from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS). She has been an associate producer at Savoir média since September 2019. One of her programs, Comprendre pour apprendre, is a finalist for a Gémeaux award in the category of Best Documentary Program or Series: Nature, Science and Environment. The series, hosted by a neuropsychologist, focuses on the challenges of learning and examines how to boost our cognitive functions.

Anne-Marie has been working in the media industry since 2008, first as an editor at Productions Pixcom, then at Canal Savoir as of September 2018. In addition to her master’s degree from INRS, she holds a bachelor’s degree in physical sciences and mathematics and a certificate in journalism.

The 36th edition of the Prix Gémeaux, presented in French by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, will take place during a gala broadcast on Facebook on Friday, September 17 at 8 p.m.
