Today, the INRS Foundation marks its first anniversary of contribution to the Institut national de la recherche scientifique’s philanthropic development and alumni relations.

“This is an important milestone to celebrate in the current context. I take this opportunity to say a warm thank you to the members of my team as well as to all the graduates, donors, directors, volunteers, and members of the extended INRS community who contribute to the vitality of the INRS Foundation. We have many projects underway and exciting announcements will follow shortly,” emphasizes Elise Comtois, director of the Foundation.

Created under Part 3 of the Companies Act, the INRS Foundation received its letters patent on May 12, 2020. As yet another sign of its dynamism, the Canada Revenue Agency granted a registered charity number (725310676 RR 0001) to the Foundation on May 1, 2021.
