The call is on! The sixth edition of our Lumières Awards is underway, and you have until March 23 to showcase INRS graduates who inspire, stand out and make us proud.

For over 55 years, INRS has been training scientific leaders and innovators capable of tackling complex challenges in key areas for our society. To date, more than 4,000 master's and doctoral graduates are actively contributing to various sectors, both here in Quebec and internationally.

The Lumières Awards celebrate these exceptional talents, ambassadors who embody the remarkable potential of our network of graduates. These awards recognize their impact, their achievements and their commitment, contributing to the influence of their alma mater.

Three award categories are offered:

  • Firestarter Award - This award is presented to young graduates (aged 40 or under) whose promising early careers are a source of inspiration to our student community.
  • Trailblazer Award - This award celebrates graduates who have distinguished themselves through their exceptional careers and their commitment to their communities, both in Quebec and around the world. It recognizes individuals who have completed at least a decade of studies at INRS.
  • Starbust Award - This award honors a graduate's outstanding commitment to the growth and contribution of INRS to the economic, social or cultural development of Quebec. In addition to the quality of the individual and his/her career of at least 15 years since obtaining his/her last diploma at INRS, we seek to highlight people who make INRS shine and embody what our institution does best.

Since 2020, 16 graduates have been honored for their remarkable careers. Thanks to your participation, the tradition continues. Take part in the celebration of excellence: nominate a colleague or alumnus before March 23, 2025.

Winners will be announced at the INRS Convocation, to be held in Quebec City on May 10, 2025.

HELP THEM SHINE!
