Take up a challenge that matches your aspirations:
Philanthropic development advisor
The INRS Foundation is in full swing! We are seeking two philanthropic development advisors to increase our capacity to support the student, scientific and graduate community of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS).
- Would you like to help stimulate research and its applications in strategic sectors for Quebec, support the next generation of scientists capable of innovation, and contribute to the vitality and pride of the INRS community?
- Do you enjoy building and maintaining productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders: members of the student, graduate, faculty, donor and leadership communities?
- Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive taking on challenges, and are you a versatile and autonomous individual driven by the idea of playing a key role and adding value within a philanthropic startup?
If so, join our team at the INRS Foundation, a foundation created in 2020 to accelerate the development and outreach of the many projects of a training and research institution in full effervescence from one end of Quebec to the other.
By working alongside inspiring people in a human-scale organization with generous working conditions, working at the INRS Foundation means building a research and training capacity that is essential to meeting Quebec’s current and future challenges, while evolving in a stimulating professional environment.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the INRS Foundation, and in collaboration with all members of his or her team, the Philanthropic Development Advisor is responsible for implementing fundraising strategies and developing and maintaining close relationships with donors, volunteers and alumni in order to increase their philanthropic commitment to INRS and its Foundation. They will deploy various approaches to prospecting, raising awareness, soliciting and building donor loyalty, mainly with individuals, companies and foundations, for the development of major gifts, planned donations and annual campaigns. They will also play a pivotal role in the very first capital campaign to support the development of INRS.
Sounds inspiring? We encourage candidates who meet the requirements of the position to apply online no later than September 29. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the positions are filled. We look forward to meeting you!
