INRS Foundation Board Scholarship 2023-2024

Are you studying at the INRS Centre Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications research and training centre? Consider applying for the INRS Foundation Board Scholarship. Valued at $2,500, this scholarship is designed to recruit and support more female master’s and doctoral students in the Centre Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications’ training programs, where women tend to be under-represented. The scholarship supplements the conditions of study offered by INRS to the successful candidate.

Two scholarships were offered for the first time in the 2022-2023 academic year. Natalie Herkendaal, a master’s student in energy and materials sciences under the supervision of Professor Lionel Roué, and Marília Karla Soares Lopes, a doctoral student in telecommunications under the supervision of Professor Tiago Falk, were our first winners.

This year’s competition is administered by the Service des études supérieures et de la réussite étudiante and is open until 5 November.

The INRS Foundation team would like to extend its warmest thanks to all those who contribute in any way to this scholarship, which is so important to our student community, including our generous donors, the Service des études supérieures et de la réussite étudiante team, and the members of the selection committee.
