Launch of two new scholarships to support research in reproductive health and fertility
The INRS Foundation is proud to announce the launch of two new scholarships starting in the fall of 2024, designed to support graduate students in their research work. Thanks to the generosity of the Fondation Rita Henry-Breault et Gilles Breault, these new scholarships will provide crucial financial support over the next five years to members of our student community in laboratories addressing reproductive health and fertility issues.
The Fondation Rita Henry-Breault et Gilles Breault Scholarship, valued at $2,000, is intended to support research exploring the social aspects of the quest for pregnancy and the use of mobile fertility applications. It is aimed at master's and doctoral students enrolled at INRS's Centre Urbanisation Culture Société, and enhances the study conditions offered by INRS to prizewinners.
The Suzanne-Parenteau Scholarship, worth $3,000, is offered to students involved in research or knowledge mobilization that will contribute to a better understanding of the role and effects of endocrine disruptors on female reproductive health and the mammary gland. It is aimed at graduate students enrolled at INRS's Centre Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie, and enhances the study conditions offered by INRS to prizewinners.
Our warmest thanks go to the Fondation Rita Henry-Breault et Gilles Breault for its generous gesture in support of up-and-coming scientists conducting research on these important issues.
