Philanthropic Development Advisor (regular position)

Do you enjoy building and maintaining productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders: members of the INRS student, graduate, faculty, donor and ally communities? Do you have an entrepreneurial profile, enjoy taking on challenges, and are a versatile and autonomous individual driven by the idea of playing a key role and adding value within a philanthropic startup? Join the team of the INRS Foundation, a foundation created in 2020 to accelerate the development and influence of the many projects of a training and research institution that is in full effervescence from one end of Quebec to the other.
Reporting to the Foundation’s Executive Director, the incumbent is responsible for implementing fundraising strategies and developing and maintaining close relationships with donors, volunteers and graduates in order to increase their philanthropic commitment to the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) and its Foundation. They deploy various approaches to prospecting, raising awareness, soliciting and building donor loyalty, mainly with individuals, companies and foundations, for the development of major gifts, planned donations and annual campaigns.

Reporting to the Foundation's Executive Director, the candidate will play a key role in providing secretarial and administrative support for various mandates and ensuring the smooth running of the Foundation.
