The INRS Foundation participated in a dinner organized as part of the annual general meeting of Après-INRS: the Association of INRS Retirees. This association brings together former employees who meet regularly to maintain the ties forged during their careers and to continue to foster the spirit of community that is unique to INRS.

For the occasion, the Foundation invited Association members to meet with INRS Executive Director Luc-Alain Giraldeau. The purpose of this meeting was to present to Association members the recent developments at INRS, its renewed vision, and the future projects that are currently shaping the institution and that the Foundation is helping to bring to fruition. It was also an opportunity to hear members share their perceptions of the organization and their memorable experiences. The discussions also provided an opportunity to gather their unique perspectives, those of people who have contributed, some for decades, to building the INRS of today.

This association brings together passionate members who organize activities to maintain ties between colleagues after they retire. Their commitment is a fine example of the vitality of our community and the lasting impact that INRS has on the professional and personal lives of those who have worked there.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the executive and members of Après-INRS for their hospitality, generosity, and commitment. This special moment illustrates the strength of our network and the importance of cultivating the bonds that unite the members of our INRS community.

For the INRS Foundation, it is essential to stay in touch with those who have contributed to the history of the institution. This gathering is a way of maintaining those ties.
