On Tuesday, June 16, the INRS Foundation and its partner, the Desjardins Caisse de Sainte-Foy, welcomed more than 40 members of the business and scientific communities to a 5 à 7 event, offering an opportunity to discover the laboratories of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) located in the Sainte-Foy technology park.

In the presence of several INRS leaders, as well as Professors Jacob Stolle and Kokou Adjallé, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception followed by a tour of the Laboratories for Environmental Science and Technology Innovation (LISTE) at the INRS Centre Eau Terre Environnement. Attendees, including representatives from companies located in the technology park, were able to appreciate the scale of the facilities and the tangible impact of research conducted at INRS in addressing current and future climate challenges.

Martin Leclerc, General Manager of the Desjardins Caisse de Sainte-Foy, also highlighted the importance of building partnerships between the scientific and business sectors:

“This event perfectly illustrates the strength of collaboration between the academic community, the business world, and the broader community.”

The commitment of the Caisse Desjardins de Sainte-Foy in supporting the INRS Foundation is a true sign of confidence in the INRS student and scientific community and in its ability to mobilize scientific research for the well-being of our community.
