On September 22, 25 people gathered for the Annual General Meeting of the members of the INRS Foundation, which took the form of a community-building event for the first time. The evening provided an opportunity to reflect on the past year, participate in the Foundation’s governance and, above all, discuss the tangible impact of philanthropy within the INRS community.

In addition to the presentation of the Foundation’s 2025–2026 Impact Report, participants heard two testimonials that brought the impact of philanthropic engagement to life. Martin Leclerc, from Caisse Desjardins de Sainte-Foy, shared a donor’s perspective and spoke about the motivations behind the Caisse’s commitment to the Foundation. Professor Jacob Stolle, for his part, discussed the impact of WSP’s philanthropic support on his research and training activities..

On the governance front, the meeting welcomed three new members: Nathalie Gendron, Martin Leclerc and Jonathan Perreault. The terms of Caroline Martel, Martine Vanasse and Marie-Pierre Habas Gérard were also renewed as members of the Board of Directors. Nadia Mattei was appointed Treasurer and Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee. The Foundation would also like to extend its sincere thanks to outgoing Treasurer Anne-Pascale Richardson for more than six years of dedicated service on the Board of Directors and the Audit and Finance Committee. Although her terms on both bodies have now come to an end, she will remain a member of the Foundation’s Members’ Assembly.
