The INRS Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Théard as a member of its board of directors. He will also join the Foundation’s Outreach and Development Committee, where his expertise in finance, technology, and entrepreneurship will help support the Foundation’s growth and its partnerships.
Karl Théard is currently Managing Director at RBCx, where he helps drive strategic growth in Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Throughout his career, he has also gained expertise at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Desjardins Capital, Silicon Valley Bank, and Roynat Capital.
His career has been marked by an approach rooted in empathy, collaboration, and adaptability. A strong advocate for mentoring, authenticity, and the vitality of innovation ecosystems, he is particularly interested in the connections between the various stakeholders who help foster and drive innovative ideas.
