Julie Hurtubise, Philanthropic Development Advisor

Our team is evolving! Meet Julie Hurtubise, our new Philanthropic Development Advisor.

Julie will be drawing on her solid professional experience in philanthropic development and partnerships, notably with Share the Warmth and the Canadian Centre for Architecture. There, she developed and implemented development management, solicitation and recognition plans. Previously, she worked in marketing communications, as an entrepreneur and at Softimage, a multimedia company that was acquired by the giant Microsoft. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Design) from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Arts by accumulation of certificates in advertising, public relations and art history from the University of Montreal, and is currently completing a certificate in philanthropic management at the same institution.

With her diverse background combining philanthropic development, stakeholder relations and marketing communications, Julie is committed to accelerating the development and outreach of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS).

Welcome, Julie!

Julie will be taking over from Mathieu Rodrigue, who left INRS at the end of August to pursue a new professional challenge. We also hope to welcome another colleague this fall, in order to expand our development and alumni relations efforts. Stay tuned!
