This year, “Giving Tuesday,” an opportunity for charities—including the INRS Foundation—to appeal to the community for end-of-year donations, falls on 3 December. This is precisely the day marking INRS’s inception. In 2024, we will be celebrating 55 years of economic, social and cultural contributions.
On 3 December 2024, INRS will celebrate 55 years at the heart of research and innovation in Quebec. A special edition of Le Devoir published earlier this year presents some of the milestones in our history, which have already made a mark on Quebec society and beyond, and which are the pride of our community.
In this spirit, please consider joining in a collective philanthropic contribution: the creation of a board schorlarship to mark INRS’s 55th anniversary. We will choose a theme in line with the Board’s vision for the future and endow a scholarship for our deserving students. This is a concrete action that reinforces the emphasis we are placing on the next generation of scientists in our new strategic plan.
