The INRS Foundation team is proud to present its 2023-2024 Impact Report, a retrospective of its major achievements made possible by the generosity of our...
Since its inception in 2020, the INRS Student Aid Fund has also provided one-time support to those experiencing financial hardship that could jeopardize the pursuit of their studies, and covers certain emerging needs that help make the student experience at INRS even more rewarding. Whether it's to alleviate the consequences of a difficult financial situation due to job loss, separation, illness, bereavement, or any other trying event, the INRS Foundation can provide invaluable support to alleviate these circumstances.
Thanks to you, we have been able to support the following student initiatives and projects:
Congrès Armand-Frappier
The Congrès Armand-Frappier is a forum for francophone scientific exchange and communication in Québec. It's a unique opportunity for student-researchers to present their research results in the various fields of biosciences and scientific popularization. The conference is organized entirely by students from the Centre Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie. The INRS Foundation is contributing financially to its realization.
Congrès Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications
The aim of this conference, which will be held for the very first time in winter 2024, is to facilitate exchanges between groups from different fields at the Centre Énergie Matériaux télécommunications, and thus encourage collaboration between peers. In particular, it will be an opportunity for student and post-doctoral members to present their research and exchange ideas.
Socio-financing campaign for a geothermal training trip in Portugal
A group of students from the Eau Terre Environnement Centre, accompanied by Professor Jasmin Raymond, organized a field trip to discover the geology, heritage and geothermal systems of Portugal. Thanks to a socio-financing campaign organized by the INRS Foundation, financial support from the Foundation and generous donations received via our socio-financing platform, our Earth Sciences students were able to travel to Portugal and enjoy an incomparable training experience.
Creative Lab
Led by a group of students from the Centre Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie, this project aims to offer INRS students a multimedia content production studio open to all. The initiative is to encourage the creation of educational resources and facilitate the popularization of science within our student community for the benefit of the general public.
